Data Collection and Usage

What and When collects task-related information from Google Tasks, including task titles and due dates to display them inside the widget. What and When use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.”

The READ_CONTACTS permission allows access to contact information to display your contacts birthdays inside the widget.

The READ_CALENDAR permission enables access to calendar events to display your appointments inside the widget.

Firebase Analytics collects anonymized and aggregated data about app usage, such as screen views, device information, and user interactions. All data are anonymous, no private informations are tracked nor collected and firebase as whole strictly follows GDPR.


User Consent and Control

By using What and When, users implicitly consent to the collection and processing of task-related data from Google Tasks, contacts, calendar events, and aggregated usage data by Firebase Analytics for analytical purposes within the app.

Users have control over the app's access to contacts and calendar events by managing permissions within their device settings. Users can also choose not to retrieve Google Tasks just by not signing to Google Tasks API.


Third-Party Sharing

Data obtained from Google Tasks, contacts, calendar events, and Firebase Analytics is not shared with any third parties.
